Held each year at Moonlight Beach, Encinitas, CA Arguably the biggest and best all woodies show in the world. At noon I heard an announcement of 254 registered. However I noticed many woodies that had not turned in their registrations shortly before the 10:00 AM cut off date. Maybe it was just me but I noticed a lot more shoeboxes this year and also Town and counties. I would guess at least a dozen Town and Countries. The most unique car there was an all wood custom "boat tail" made on a deuce ch***is. Close to 400 photos here. Includes shots of two surf bands. In my opinion the group (2 guys) calling themselves the DuoTones is the best surf band around these days. Gil Orr now in his '70's was an original member of the Chantays. Paul Johnson was (and is) in the Safaris and a few other great Surf bands of yesteryear. http://www.pbase.com/xl1ken/wave91 Enjoy and comments most welcome. Ken
