Hot Rods Relix riot traditional hot rod and custom show

sept. 27 . 9 am -6 pm. Gilmore car museum in hickory coners mi. Looking for any pre 64 traditional hot rods and customs . Live bands, pin up contest, vintage diner and service station. Make sure not to miss this one.

Any idea on how the turnout will be? Im interested in running out there for the day from Detroit, but with kids and other crap I want to be sure its worth it.

 

If a street rod shows up (48 chevy pickup) would it be confined to general admission lot?

 

Anyone ever notice that the every car show these days all have a similar title?

Essentially there's always the heavy aliteration and either a reference to violence, white trash, or both (Rockabilly Rumble, Relix Riot, Runway Rumble, Pschobilly Brawl, Blacktop Bash, Bent Wrench Beatdown, Riff Raff Riot, Traditional Trash, etc. etc.).

We're becoming quite predictable, and dare I say....boring.

 

It's worth going just to check out the museum.

 

I'm planing on going. I hope there is a good turn out, I'd like to shoot the show for a possible spread in TRK .
