A little history about me to start with.....I am 32 years old and live all things hot rod........I used to have a restoration/hot rod building business that went south because of the economy...however I still want to contribute to the hobby that I love..... sooooo............I was thinking I could make a cd that has my friends and there cars{some may know I painted the SHOCKER}......kinda like a "my classic car" but way cooler..........interviews.....burn outs......specs on the build....and they would all be local guys around washington dc and alot of them my friends..............what do you guys think??????...........would buy buy a cd like that??????...........good or bad please give your 2cents.............thanks Gary
I'm pretty sure you meant DVD not CD. The problem is marketing.Your target demographic is very limited and with all the b/s "reality" hot rod/bike/towing/fishing shows on tv for the cost of cable, you have a bunch of competition.Even the hot rod DVd's put out by mad fabricators (some very cool stuff) have a limited market and with people not having the expendable income they may have had a few years ago, it is a very risky investment to say the least. The cost to produce something like you want even on a "entry level" is going to be $$$$. This is only my thoughts and I am not in the entertainment buisiness. Please do your homework and Best of luck!
My thoughts...or two cents.....It might be interesting for the people involved on a local level. But with the saturation of the street rod movement on the web, cable,in magazines, all the car shows around...I think there is too much free exposure for anyone to want to buy a dvd.Maybe just the local guys.
yes, that is an amazing idea, sure to sell thousands of copies... too bad piero already did it tho and beat you to the punch
