Drunk driving stinks!! Easy on the booze, roll one up and relax!! Lot less stress on the whole world. An illegeal smile can be a bad thing when driving as well, might be going to slow!! Glad you are O.K. ~Sololobo~

I saw a thing on the BBC a few years ago where they tested the effects of driving while high on wacky-tobackey...

Turns out, the test subjects actually drove better than they did when stone cold sober.

Apparently something to do with the heightened sense of paranoia and awareness that made them "sharper" behind the wheel, while at the same time being "dopey" to the casual observer.

Sorry... O/T... Back to our regularly scheduled program.

Sorry but you guys are playing right into the lawyers hands! They don't do anything you can't do yourself except they take 30% or more for doing it. Take it from a claims adjuster that negotiates claims like this, lawyers are sorry pieces of ****!!! They get paid for getting your records together and presenting it in a nice pretty package. Is that really worth 30% of your settlement??? I think not! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

+1, that van did it' duty in protecting you from more injuries. Looks like it gave a pretty good fight before it went down for the count.

As the others said, get a lawyer and go after the ****** before he gets a chance to try and weasel out of it.

Wow, that big ole Ford Van took a hit, Hope you get well soon. Sue the **** out of that MF'er, one of my best buddy's lost his life, along with 2 of his friends, to a drunk driver, we grew up together and were in the USMC together, the drunk driver was here illegally from south of the border, when he eventually went to court, they deported him back to mexico. If his older brother would of gotten ahold of him in the court room, he would of been dead, but they found a gun on him when he got patted down, this was before every courtroom had metal detectors.
Hope they throw away the key on this jerk!!!

OK Hambers you know what we have to do when someone messes with one of our own right, we find this jack*** and tie 'em to the car and drag 'em! Seriously glad you're (mostly) ok! Anyone else think drunk driving should be a hanging offence?

    Yah, drunk drivers ****!

Some drunk bas-turd rear ended my 1962 Pontiac Bonneville convertible in Hollywood in 1970, insurance wrote it off so she was total loss.
Sure wish I had that car today, she was dark red with dark red and white interior and a white top.

Sage advice here...maybe except for the balls on the mantle thing. A corner shelf would be much more appropriate. Abject poverty can be a good teacher.
I had a personal injury claim similar to this and settled on my own since I was guided by an atty friend. Most who settle on their own, unless they know the unwritten rules and are strrt smart, get abused by the system.

  20. Heh, if you're in an accident you go to jail just like the drunk.

    Sorry about the accident Maxwedge.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you'r OK. Them damn drunks never learn. They keep getting popped for DUI's and continue to drive all f'ed up. The courts are pretty tough here in Ohio, but the drunks don't care. They continue to screw people's lives up. That is one of my worst fears that some drunk will hit my family and hurt them. Not to mention damaging property. And as someone mentioned, drivers here in Ohio are getting worse and worse. It seems the last thing on their mind is actually driving. Cell phones, GPS, Ipods, texting, etc. That's why I got rid of my Harley. Almost got hit a bunch of times by retards.

Some lawyers are, some aren't. Even if you end up with a S.P.O.S for a lawyer, you're more likely to get a decent settlement. I'd rather have 70% of what a lawyer can get, than risk screwing it up by trying to do it myself and get nothing. But of course I DON'T work for an insurance company, so what would I know? And I'm not a lawyer, either......
