We got there early Saturday afternoon and other than the walnut bombs dropping, it was a great day. Lots of great cars, but the cruise was the best part, especially the red 63 Galaxie convertible with the flame thrower exhausts, he got my vote. Great show, will do it again next year, but will get there earlier.

 

Yea, D2, we got there later Saturday afternoon too. It's great to see and hear (and with some of them, FEEL) the cars as they leave the park for the cruz.

Carrie, Wichita is not that far, you need to make this show next year. They hold it in a pretty little park so there is plenty of shade and I haven't heard the official car count but I'm sure there were more than a thousand.

I am a FNG so forgive my ignorance. I'd like to give our members their due... What is this tag I should have been looking for? License Plate? Window sticker?

Couple of other things:

1) Only saw one street rod with a hemi in it. BOOO!

2) I really enjoyed the cruz and all ages enjoying our hobby. To all you young people, keep up the good work and long live HAMB!

 

Here is what we got. Not so many cool cars there but the shear number of old cars cruisin just cant be beat i didnt even care that most were muscle cars this has got to be one of the coolest events in the area. Couldnt stay too long sat. night though cause legendrat72's nitrogen tank for his bags was out so we headed back to McPherson that night.

 

my grandpa was born and raised there and actually flew back there for this show. didnt think it was that big.

 

Got a lot more to come later but this will have to do for now

 

I was Kinda surprised at the car count when I started going there. (I think about 750 then) Haven't heard how many this year but it keeps growing.

They announced over 1500 cars were entered.

 

When we registered we were 1522 and a bunch more came after us.
