photos from the 2009 Kingman Street Drags

not everything there would qualify as anything close to a traditional custom. there were lots of muscle cars and the like but there were enough g***ers, altereds (including Taz II a AA/FD tribute to the original Tazmainian Devil Altered that got away and hit the wall) an Austin and some other weirdness. In Kingman they race 330 feet or 1/6th mile on a real city street that gets an amazing conversion to a drag strip for the weekend and all this happens just one block off of Route 66.
