OT Hiram is flooded

My son just called their house is flooded their dog drown last night...a prayer would feel nice about now.

I sincerely hate to hear about their dog.Being a dog lover,I know they are more upset about that than the house.It has been raining here for at least two weeks also.Luckily,we are not as bad off as a lot of areas.My prayers go out to all of you affected.

My daughter moved back to here from Hiram back in February.When she went down there 2 years ago ,it was a severe drought. Crazy weather.

hey- sorry to hear- I know it bad- Im in Acworth and on a hill and I am still getting water out of the garage and cleaning the cars.

I dont know what Id do if I lost my house and dog- prayers are there!

 

If I thought it would help dry things out,I would drive her down myself
She loved it down there,but the job market was killing her...

 

We went thru that last year here in Iowa. Buddy had 7 feet of water in the main floor of his house. I know how they feel. Hope all is well now. Things can be replaced but what counts is everybody is safe.

I'm praying that it will stop raining. After a 3 year drought I never thought I would do that.

 

Been watching news and weather reports this AM and they are saying that rain is gonna continue but maybe lighten up a bit over the next couple of days Said rivers are gonna be high for several more days even without more rain.
Brian is your son's home near a river or major creek? Or is it just in a low area. Hope he had flood insurance!

Was just commenting to someone today at lunch about how you guys are getting hammered on and how fortunate we have been to have such a mild spring/summer/fall here in the central states. Sorry to hear about the pooch-that just plain ol' ****s.
