Dave, no the creek isn't really that big, but his house is in a low area and no flood insurance. My wife went over today to help clean up, she said the bottom pieces of sheetrock will have to be replaced in the house and all the carpet. The house is a "slab" house so there won't be any floor problems. But all that is just stuff the two grandaughters , son and daughter in law all are fine. Thank GOD... and yes J&J that little dog was the coolest little guy his name was Jack.

My prayers go out to you and your family Bryan. Our home has suffered some damage due to the rain back there as well. A good friend of ours lost their home last night. Stay safe and take care brother

Prayers incoming from AZ - maybe some of our dry weather can bless you folks in GA and the surrounding states getting all the rain. I didn't post yesterday but this thread has bothered me all day - so sad for the loss of life, both human and animal.

Brian, I live off of Hiram Sudie if they need a place to stay, shower, wash clothes, etc. I can also help with the tear out. Really need some dehumidifiers in their asap. I know Jim Demkowski @ Big Bear Restorations in Powder Springs has 50 of them but I'm sure he's running full speed but we could ask. Jim is great with water damage claims. Like I said on FB, if the president declares this a disaster area your son could apply for aid and probably get most of it paid for. Just let me know. Rick

Thanks Rick, My wife went over yesterday and helped clean up, The sheet rock is screwed and the carpet too. But if there is a good thing about owning a "SLAB" house is that the floors will be OK. It could have been alot worse... we'll have them back in there in a few weeks. Thanks for your help. Bryan
