Folks Of Interest A call to arms for an injured HAMBER - FREMONT, CA

Actually, this is a call for arms, hands feet and backs. As some of you know Marcus, AKA Maxwedgeheminut was involved in a drunk driver wreck on Saturday night, (he is the victim!) and got banged up pretty bad. He’s expecting a BIG crate from me here in Ohio. Since this is a BIG crate, there’s no way Marcus could or should even try to man-handle this crate or even help unload it from the truck.

I’m trying to ***emble a group of guys who are willing to help him out. If we could get three to five guys to show up at Marcus’ joint around 5PM on Monday, September 28th, the driver said he’d be there between 5 and 7. This crate is on wheels, but very awkward to move alone, much less with one bad arm.

I figure a few HAMBers could show up, kick back and have a cold one with Marcus until the truck shows up and then move the crate to a safe place for Marcus. Here’s yet another chance for the HAMB to shine.

Please PM either Marcus or myself to let us know if you can help. I haven’t even spoken to Marcus about this yet, so it’ll be a surprise to him at first.

I"m too far away and working at that time anyhow but from reading his story on the wreck (I won't call getting hit by a drunk an accident) I'd think he sure could use the help from several guys for a short period of time that night.

Hope this works... Marcus is a cool guy and a great drummer...

 

Come on guys, this is a big crate - 5' long by 4' wide by 3' tall and about 400 pounds. Yeah it's on casters, but it's gotta be lifted over several gaps in the trailer's ramp decking. It took three of us to load it Sunday.

Another E.R. case worked out. Thanx to the chiefs stimulous plan, and E.R. head nurse, Denise organizing the operation. Kudos to all who are stepping out to help the brother.
