    I finished the roadster in january(09),and have been driving the hell out of it ever since.I combined some photos together on my computer, and thought it would be cool to post.

    Day one I picked up roadster down south in san diego...my Dad looking and thinking what the hell did you buy this time....

    Dad making room for the ladder bars,and working on the new oak floors...

    steering and some body mods,recessed pontiac lights...

    the garage became chaos.

    I rolled up a fuel tank,with 36 hubcaps for ends.

    started to fit body to the frame,a-line everything up,doors working fitment..all that good stuff.

    My Father and I had a goal to make the G.N.R.S.
    and we made it.

    since the completion of this build,I take every chance I can get to drive this car its a blast...

    you probably won't remember me, but I accidentally stumbled upon your house once while you were welding up the frame with your dad. We talked for a little while, then I went my way.... I'll hopefully catch you at Field's some time soon.

    Most excellent project! Thanks for posting the progress shots. The build sequence can give a newbie a feel for what it takes to do a project of this magnitude from start to finish.

  28. Thanks for sharing those pics - car looks great. I wish my dad was still around to take the first ride (coming soon!) in our roadster project. As a former P-38 pilot in WWII I know he would have liked it...
