Hello all, I was turned on to your site by a guy at work, I don't know his SN but his real name is Bruce. I hope to pick up something this year to build my first rat rod. I have several old bikes now I got an urge for 4 wheels. I am truly excited about the wealth of info on this site!! Hope to post up some useful info and soon some pics of a new rod. Keep the shinny side up and the rubber side down good buddies!
I dont think the hamb is a RR site, thats is just whats big around me. Crackerass54 you took that wrong, No disrespect was ment, I was just asking if that was yours, its nice! Actually its Beautiful! Then again so are 99% of the cars here. You guys truly know how to resurrect the rust! AWESOME!!!
hey bucket... a big welcome. but please dont use the R word- man it makes old rodders cringe HA!!! sorry i was gone for awhile. had to drink a 6 pack before i could finish!!! HA! your new friend in texasYEEEHAAAA! call me pop.
Welcome, But you have to get rid of that r@# rod word. Ithink you were going to build a hotrod right?
Welcome bucket o bolts... you'll find out that the R word is worse than the F word around here. Not sure why, but hey who am i to buck the rules. Personally i like old automobiles. Lots of nice folks here and very good resource.
Hey B.O.B. Just sit back and read the treads and you'll figure it out real quick, IT'S ABOUT TRADITIONAL OLD SCHOOL HOT RODS, and other cool stuff up to 1964...... Welcome to Hambland!
Welcome from Deer Park. There are a couple of chrome shops in Houston, there is one near me on the ship channel and another down town. I would have to look up their names.
And yes I meant HOT rod. Looking to build an International truck or a coupe of some sort. Found one truck to look at on the way home from Daytona, might have something to post upon my return home. Wish me luck guys, the wife is already mad at me. The HR fund is taking up most of my income, and looking for the perfect project is taking up most of my time lol
Good Luck with the hunt. A happy wife makes all the diff though. If she's not cool with it that could sure be a long hard road. I spent nearly every day off for the last 2 years working on mine and without her good vibes I dunno. Enjoy the HAMB it's alot of fun!
The wife is mad that I'm not supercharging her damn GTO, thats what all thats about. But I just paid 20k for her car, so I got some lee way.
