52 chevy hood

I found a 52 chevy ragtop in a junkpile and am wondering if a 49 or 50 chevy hood is the same? anybody know?

 

Yep Ive got a 50 hood on my 51, pretty sure 49-52 are all the same except for front emblem holes may differ.

Are the front fenders the same too? I shoulda asked that right away too...

 

Yeah, the fenders should be the same, although where they meet the grille may be slightly different... but I think they're identical.

 

49-50 and 51-52 fenders do not interchange. they are different where the grille bolts on. the inner fenders are different also as is the front splash pan.

you can swap complete front sheetmetal from one to another, but not the individual components.

note on the inner fenders, if you seperate the two pieces the main part of the inner fenderwells are the same, but the front part that is rivited on is different since the grilles bolt on to that part also
