There was a Deuce that was always at York in the 1990s that looked like that, and it was from California. It was an older looking build at the time and it had the same high stance and small headlights. When I first saw it, the owner and his son were there, and later years, it was the son and he cruised the Fair Grounds alot.

huh  Different color, different stance, Different wheels, Blue windows, different headlights, no roll bar, bumpers, no moon tank - about the only similarity is it's a full fendered 5 window, in my eye.

I remember this post from waay back. I hope J can find a mag article on it. I'm trying figure out what is hanging under the gas tank? Is that a fuel line, parallel leafs or wheelie bar or what? Love this car.

Back in the late 60's the parallel leafs were a common upgrade. HRP

That's what I thought too, but when I zoomed in they seemed awful thin. Parallel leafs probably explain the dimples on the frame near the back of the running board.

It looks like someone tried a pair of those monoleaf rear springs that were used on some Camaros during that period, hence the thin look to them. But those definitely are parallel springs under there.
