Thanks for the kind words! My dad is stoked with the car. Dave is a insane craftsman! And the best part about that is that he is truly a good guy too.. For more buildup pics, click here: http://www.fastlanerodshop.com/williams.htm
Dave's work is always on my radar, I follow everything he does, including this roadster from day one.... love it. Your father has a very nice car that I am sure he is proud to own, and should be.
I would prefer pleats to the diamonds but the car is beautiful.I watched it on Lanes web site and got to see it in person at Louisville. It was funny Lobeck had a black 32 roadster across from this car at Louisville.Lobecks car did not even come close to being as nice as your dads car.Enjoy this car as it is built to be driven.I talked to Dave a little at Louisville and he is a great guy.I wish i could afford to have him finish my car.
Ill second that. I had the chance to see it in Louisville as well. Great car and Dave was a super nice guy to meet. Nice to see a really well planned out car come together.
WOW! That car is even nicer than I thought it was....and I thought it was beautiful when I first saw it.
Thanks! my dad is still kinda in disbelief that it's his. I'm sure that will change once he stomps on it a few times here are a few finished pics:
Has Floyd picked it up and brought it home yet, I want to see it in person . I know he is real excited.
Wow, one of the coolest interiors I've seen, in awhile. Just when you think you've seen it all....Almost a shame to paint over that beautiful aluminum craftsmanship. Great insperation, for my next project. Looks killer!! JT
Truly Magnificent! One of the finest examples I've ever seen, in all aspects but in particular the interior. You must be very proud & happy with the end product.
