Here's one my upholstery guy had. I know nothing about boats so I don't remember what it is other then a 59 something and it was stored inside for years, amazing condition! My brother was going to buy it but made the mistake of telling one of his best friends about it, the friend ran down and bought it out from under him. No longer a friend, guess sometimes a good buy is better the keeping friends!

Looks like a RedFish or Glastron or a copy. Good Luck.

ebay pics 439.jpg Not 50's Heres my 69 Hustler It needs to be redone again Parked it 6 years ago because of gas prices also had a 50's boat project but gave up.Those old 50's and 60's boats are cool as hell. Its a shame that there is no market for these boats.People want new and sign on the dotted line. They aren't like us.

My good friend a couple of those finned boats in his shed.
One is a fiberglass one similar to teh ones shown in this thread and the other is an unusual aluminum, finned boat that is natural aluminum on the top with a gold anodized racing stripe. The sides and bottom are gold anodized with a blue anodized insert in the fins like a 57 Chevrolet.

Here is one that I found on another site. Real trick set up. Matches the Desoto. Looks like it may be a Redfish.

I have a 1962 FleetForm no fins but has a trunk  It is a straight inboard think when new it had some kind of inline 6 cyl. It now has a 283 Chevy with a Flagship transmission Glenwood manifolds Ncson spark arrestor. Will look for some pics

  13. I'm fixing up this old Aristo Craft hardtop. It's a rare special order color combination... black on black with red and white trim.

Looks good with my tow rig...

  14. Kerry my man, I just found one of these today up here! May go well with the vintage Johnson outboard I scored last week! But it is ROUGH, should be cheap.

  15. Boones has one of these freshwater hotrods!:D Its cool, just needs a HEMI

I'd like to find one since I'm 2 minutes from the lake and 2.5 minutes from the ocean....

I recently aquired an Aristo Craft Funliner. The boat is I believe '66-67 although the design isn't much different from the '50s 'cept the I/O drive. Think I'm gonna clean it up and enjoy it:confused::D

    "F" fiberglass....steel is real.

  29. A steel boat???!!! We're not talking ships here. For boats it's wood, glass, and aluminum.
