Factory Drag cars, altered wheel base, bumper dragers, and RAIN don't mix well! I got to see two pairs run, the red 63 Ford pulled a good wheel stand but when he landed a ball joint let loose, luckily it didn't do much damage, then the rain started. They just about got the track dried and it started to pour. If it stops raining soon and the track can be dried, Sunday morning it is planned to have Church services at 9:00 and start running at 9:30 till late afternoon.

Is this the one you are asking about? A friend said he got to hear it run and it was awesome but could only be run for a short time due to the water pump was being replaced, I think they said this car had been stored away since the 70's and needed a lot of work to race, but what a survivor!
