I bought the car in 86. It still has the Ford truck axle, Olds/Pont rear end, and 3 point roll cage, and tilt front end that was originally in it when I bought it in 86. After MANY years of sitting, I finally got it going a couple of weeks ago. Purchased it in Mentor on the Lake, Ohio. The guy I bought it from said he purchased it from a guy in Perry, Ohio. Probably was raced at Thompson Drag Raceway or Dragway 42. I found traces of Silver paint and Orange paint before I did the bodywork. Also, it had a different fiberglass hood on it now. Any info on any kind of history or previous owners would be appreciated. Thanks
my dad had a 55 gasser looking car and it was orange and i belive mixed looking. been many years so i do not remember anything but the orange and it was faded.it had straight axle setup and it was in western pa mercer county.he sold it i would guess somewhere in the 79-83 time frame.
