Ok, so I flew back to Seattle from Hawaii on Friday night and stayed with my Brother up North of Seattle. I could hardly sleep because I was so excited to go on the famous Swindler's Poker Run. I have to give a BIG THANK YOU to my Good friend Bruce who offered to let me take his Model A roadster on the run as I only had a modern car. It was not just any Roadster, though...it was this roadster: Oh man, what a machine. It ran and drove as good as it looked. I can't even begin to tell you Bruce how much I appriciated that and I'll remember that forever. Also a huge THANK YOU to the Swindlers. They threw probably the best run of the year, running what I think is about 100 miles through the beautiful NorthWest. You guys rock and Jamie and I had a blast. Thanks so much for everything. The weather was great, the food was super and the people/friends were amazing. You guys do it right. Alright, heres the damn pics. I took a ton, trying to capture the day. First stop On the road again Jamie and I havin a blast ]
Seats were actually pretty comfy This truck is so frickin close to the same shape as my 51 it's scary!! Mines even the same color! Back on the road in my favorite strech of the run. Very pretty drive
Good times! This was by far the best run I've been on since I started going in '06. The weather was gorgeous and of course there's no way possible to beat the northwest in summer/fall.
Chris, great pics. Good to see you again. Glad you got to come on the run and drive Bruce's roadster. Keith
Wow, that looks like an awesome event. Cool cars, cool scenery, just plain cool. Thanks for the pics.
Looks like a lot of fun, great pics Chris. Is that blue '35 the same one that was in Marshall's shop a few weeks ago? I checked that thing out when I stopped by and man that is a sweet car. Lot's of sweet NW cars in those pics. I love that Econoline how low it is.
That looks like a really good time! Bruce's roadster has been a favorite of mine since I first saw pictures of it many years ago. Fantastic pics and cars. thank's ror posting.
Thats what its all about!!!!! Thanks for sharing the picks...... Good freinds are hard to find, let alone beat..
Enjoyed the photos. That's a mighty fine friend of yours to let you borrow such a fine roadster. Nothing like great friendships!! Many of the cars in attendance look like they were right out of a time capsule ....
I am seriously covetting that Econoline. That is a sweet little custom. Thanks fro sharing the pics with us.
