(In my quietest voice)....awesome find! I always wonder what the story is behind abandoned vehicles like these. Stolen and left to die ugly deaths?

Well..... actually wasn't roaming. Had permission by owner.

The 31 Coupe I chased about 20 years ago and lost track of owner and just now 20 years later catching up with it. The 34 truck beside it was just a bonus.

The stories from the current owner about the two are priceless....... I love sittin and listening to old rod stories .... they never get old and always kick ass.

Coupe has a 301 from a 61 Olds and a nine inch from an old T-Bird. Coupe has always been local, hid from time to time from cops, basic country back-roads terrorizer. She now sleeps with an owner who hasn't wanted to sell her forever, but is slowly talking price with me. Working on a package deal.

Depends if the guy knows about what they are worth. If you lowball him, he might get bent.

The other thing is how hard is it to get them out? If you have to GW some Cherry Trees, you could negotiate a bit lower.

    $3k maybe?

Isn't that the small bolt pattern?
maybe 35 because it's the last year of 5.5 bolt pattern that was replaced with wide five during 36 to 39.

'35 truck 'cause where the windshield meets the cowl it has a sharp line in it. What a find, '35 trucks are a real pretty thing. My favorite Ford hauler. The hardtop (left turn car for all you that aren't familiar with the term "hardtop")/race car is bitchin' as well.

You need to wake them with the sounds of your truck and trailer backing up the driveway...

I think the guys are right about the truck being a '35. Here's my '34 and they are alot different.

Good luck on getting them both.

Currently just trying for both grill shells and the headlight stands off the coupe.
