Well put Frank. I and about 99% of the rest of those here would agree. Show me the money, thats what we work all of our lives for. I wish I had thought of it first.

i for one, would sell out in a friggin heartbeat.
sure the occ idiots make udder ****, but do you think that they give a ****....NO! they have more money than their feeble little minds know what to do with.
people dog j. james for "selling out", in my opinion, that dude got LUCKY. he's getting paid big time for doing something that he'd normally be doing (ok, maybe not the autozone commercials).
if someone came to me and said "hey, were making this tv show...bla bla bla.." i would jump on it. i would act as stupid as they wanted me to, and stick all the money away for a rainy day.
occ, boyd, wcc, etc, are in the realm of hollywood right now. as we all know, noone stays on top in hollywood for long, new things come along, bigger and better.
i can definately see why someone would "sell out". grab the ring while it's there, cuz if you don't the next guy will.

jj has talent, so do alot of other people that aren't in the spotlight...maybe someone we all know will be the next big thing??? would we be pissed at BARNETT if he became the star of the next reality show??

soon enough, the chopper craze will p*** and there will be something else to piss us all off.
as for me, i'm looking for my big chance to sell out.
then i'll have all the money i could need to work on the **** in my garage!

And most of you will get your wish and will die as unknown paupers, but at least you'll have your integrity. Man, famous people ****! And they're all unskilled, too...I can do A LOT more than any of them ever thought of.

Life is good at the top of the bottom.

Hatch and I were just talking about the "selling out" that some of the custom and rod boys are doing. Our conclusion is: Where and when are you going to make the "obscene" money they are making. And don't anyone tell me they would turn down a couple of million dollars to "sell out". In a couple of years you would be able to look back and laugh about how little you did for so much and the rest of the world will have forgottten by then. If you were smart about what you did with the money you'd be able to sit back and cruise doing the things you would love to do now if you had the bucks. Afterall, in case you've forgotten, it IS about the money. Now, if you happen to be one of those 1% people who would NEVER sell out, you can just sit back and tell the rest of us how you HAD the opportunity but p***ed to maintain your integrity. At that moment if you don't have a slight pang of regret you are truly a man of your convictions.

Don't forget Frank the ONLY reason these clowns are,"selling out" is because there are so many who are,"buying in" to the juvenile ******** theatre and the merchandise they hawk for obscene prices. They're not "builders";they're,"parts ***emblers".The best thing that could happen to the whole family is have them committed to Bellevue for an indeterminate stay. But then there would just be another family of fools to take their place.Life's too precious to waste 38 minutes(plus commercials)every week on watching that.My opinion.

I think the tearm " selling out " is being used a little too freely here . They never sold out because in order to do that you have to go against your convictions , at the prospect of monetery reward .

As far as I can tell they never had any lofty street cred that was threatened by the gift of huge amounts of fame and fortune .

They are doing exactly what they set out to do . . . make as much money as quickly and voraciously as possible . They didnt sell out at all , infact they are doing exactly what they had planned all along . All the money and fame & regognition was part of thier plan from the begining .

Do they **** ? Yes of course they do . Are the bikes lame ? Without a doubt . Did they sell out ? **** no . . . but then again , does anyone really care ?

What a crew of pompous ***es. I have met them boys on many occasions at different events. They use to be cool. Now they put their hands out when you talk to them. There is a show here in town. OCC in Tempe. 32 a day to get in. 250 bucks to enter their bike show. How much more gouging an industry can go on. Here is a shirt design I did commemorating their success. Some may say I am jealous, but knowing I run circles around them guys, I am disgusted.
    Rock on,
    Mike

I do watch it some times, I have a TV in the garage so I catch some here -some there. They have more talent than I do ,and damn sure more Money but it's still better than watching Three gay guys remodel a closet.
Now I really like that OVERHAULIN show, no I don't watch it to see FOOSE.
I like that skinny wench that struts around and proves I don't need ******. Some times I watch her and I have to touch myself.

Hey Hamb Peeps. This is my first-ever HAMB post. My bro and former cowroker Jim A turned me onto the HAMB a long time ago, and my current co-worker, Billet S**** guy, is probably gonna say "What....Now you write on the HAMB?" But hey - It's Friday and I have a little "spare" time!

My thoughts on the Tuttle's are this. They are probably decent guys. I don't think they have created the monster. Discovery Channel hypster's and ratings-hungry executives from the Network and a bottom-feeding television entranced society has created the OCC Monster. It's now steam rolled into this typical American hype machine which will run its course and burn out like a commet ala Beverly Hills 90210.

Thanks and I hope to see some of you face down in the dust at the Far end next weekend at Famoso!!!!!!

The only bike i like they built was the one that Sr gave to Cody.
It's also one of the only show's i liked because of that.

I hate the bickering between Sr &Jr.
Thats the biggest reason i don't like to watch the show anymore. I wanna see stuff getting built, not a soap opera.

I will say even though i like bike's clean and simple without all the theme ****, i did like the way they honored the fallen FD and PD with those..
There was more to them than just a bunch of **** on 2 wheels.

And, if the're making that much money building 'their' rendition's of choppers, more power to 'em.
I wish i was making that kinda scratch doing something i loved thats for sure...

    Rat......
