55 dodge

i just got a 55 dodge truck it says 300 on the side and i have no clue about it it has a v8 and i want to turn it into a rat rod of sorts i need parts and a direction like a newer front end for brakes or just a disk conversion and rear brake or conversion until i can find parts to make it a one ton dually rat rod so leave me ideas and kinda cheap ones im a outa work welder that work at dominos pizza at the moment
