  11. Im digging the headers, bet it took some time to get the pipes to end up where you wanted them to be.

  12. I like it. I think the problem some people have with these is the r%^ rod vibe some of them have. At least yours has some paint on it. I'll bet what we all think of it will really bother you as you cruise in it.

You didn't read the directions right on your Lake header kit - Ha. Looks awesome - craftsmanship is what counts, looks neat and clean.

Pretty nice effort. Those stock Lincoln valve covers are fine, fine, fine. I've always wondered why no other outfit ever made a rip for other makes. I seem to remember some with the fins angled at a 45 to the long side in some old magazine.
Enjoy it and finish paint that A!

  17. Hey, I like it! Any pics of the build?

  18. I like that you used that lower cowl wheelwell cutback area to put the exhaust into, it makes it look much better than a big hole area there.

Neat valve covers, you don't see those everyday!

you need to show some rear and side views.

  24. That mindset will get this thread closed.
It's a tough bunch here but they do know some things.
Anything post-1936 and fenderless will be scrutinized.....

With that said, I like your truck and have a similar rat that's never been on the HAMB because I don't have a firesuit. I wasn't purposely building a rat but wanted to build an "exposed engine, fenderless, old something"..

I've been into cars but never scratch built an old car.
The 20's & 30's bodies were out of my price range.

I sorta' like it and had fun building but doesn't have the look. I'm chopping it 3" or 4" this winter. I should learn alot for my next build. Probably sell it next summer and look for a more traditional fenderless body.

Hey... for me a lot of the fun is the build.
    Beats the hell outta TV.

I like it. As long as you do, that`s what really counts. You built it, it don`t get much better than that.
