Very nice job on the pics. Definitely has the feel of real old photos.

Awsome! The multiple exposure ones are equally as cool as the rest. Those old film cameras were pretty tricky to load back then, so picture taking was sometimes left to higher evolved ones..hahaha. By the way, there's no such thing as 510 film..maybe 620, 120, 220. I have a huge collection of old cameras and sometimes use them at shows for myself, not for print. However with self publishing made so easy today, you could easily put together a small hard-bound book for yourself or friends..

I found these two pictures on a Wichita site. The first one is a street scene at Douglas and Broadway, taken in 1941. There was no year listed with the 2nd picture but it obviously is a "new car" show. Check out the bus!!! This was taken in the old Forum here in Wichita, where Daryl Starbird's first indoor shows started back in the late 50s. I couldn't find any pics of Daryl's early shows, I will keep looking.

If ya fotoshop the truck in the first picture the hemi may as well go away.
    Great cars! Great photos! Thanks!

  7. thanks. it is what I was hoping for. i came to the conclusion (with the ***istance of Farmer), "why am I shooting pics of vintage cars with modern camera's": something did not feel right about the pics. I dont have the time to photoshop everything, so this works for me and gets some neat results. I need to remember to wind the darned camera's though.

  8. It was good meeting you, the coupe looks great in person. Next time wear some full length ****ies, you could almost never be able to date the picture. :D

  9. Nice shots and a neat exercise! Some of you guys are rather thick however....

  10. Great pics. Good vibe. The guy with the socks had too many modren tatoos for 1940's. Still, swell cars!!

See the huffer on pic #5, makes me wonder when did the 4/71, 6/71 start to be built and show up on hot rods.
