Appears to be a 64 Mercury ParkLane with I,m guessing a 390 4 barrel engine. Four door but has power windows and the proverbial 9 inch. It,s gonna be a ***** getting it onto my car trailer but with a fully charged battery,a ****** block and my winch I shall prevail! Guy just wants it gone! Another dude was supposed to take it and a nice 57 Chevy pickup but just took the truck....imagine that. I deal in vintage parts as a sideline so free cars are money in the bank. Wish me luck boys and when i get at it I,ll post pics!
Looks like fun... I'd prolly bring the skidsteer if I was trying to wrangle something like that onto a trailer.
I think a loader pushed it there. Can anyone tell me the significance of the fender trim? I searched the net and can,t find a pic of a 64 Merc with that piece of trim on it....
yeah... enquiring minds want to know. was it "running when parked"? looks like it might have had the flu.... flew into the woods! but that IS a 390 and i betcha if you put a hot battery on it and shoot it a little gas it'll fire right up. betcha a cold Coke anyway. might even drive off that briar patch!
trim is probably extra Canadian stuff, just for our Northern brothers. kinda neat, hope you got both sides so ya got a pair to use on something else. exactly how far off the ground IS that car?
Its sitting up on a rock pile and the rear diff is laying out behind it. Hopefully I can weasel my trailer underneath the *** end and winch it back over the rocks. Can,t hurt it anymore than it is!
1967 Comet fender trim. Probably trying to look like Barris` Super Marauder side scoops. I own that cars twin but mine's from Cali hence bit more solid! I may be interested in some parts!
