THE SHOW IS NOW OCT 25th RAIN OR SHINE Here is the statement we issued: As the Hot Rod Fall Out enters its fourth year we cannot help but look back at the past Fall Outs and the general state of traditional hot rodding today. Over the past few years we have seen the hot rod scene explode. All though we are happy to see new faces and the traditional rides they drive. We cant help but feel that maybe some of the core traditional hot rodding values have gotten lost or buried somewhere amongst the hair grease, pin-up girls, tattoos, partying, street rods and of course Rat Rodsor at least the term anyway. These things are in fact part of the traditional hot rodding culture today. (sans the street rods and rat rods) but we feel its time to redirect the focus of the Fall Out. The Hot Rod Fall Out was originally created to be a traditional Hot Rod and Custom show. This year we will be getting back to the basics. Expect some minor changes for this years show which will be focused less on the side show and more on what we all here at the Fall Out like the most, traditional rods and kustoms and the people who love them. We will be strictly enforcing the gate. The high dollar or built for show, not for go Street Rods and other rides that do not meet the criteria will be denied entry. We are not trying to be elitist or the judge of anyone or their ride. We simply want to keep our show a traditional Hot Rod and Custom show. So please only 1963 and older traditional: Hot Rods, Customs, Stock, Race and bikes unless prior approval. Got questions pertaining to the eligibility of your ride? Give us a call! And having said all that we will still have the Bands, Art, Food, Booze and the damn good time you expect at the Hot Rod Fall Out.
I was walking past the gate last year when the guy in the Prowler got all pissy because he was asked to park up the street...Classic.
Street Rods and other rides that do not meet the criteria will be denied entry." Matt, Glad to here this. While the majority of cars have been right on the mark, I've noticed last year there were quite a few cars that did not fit the "intentions" of this show. GOOD IDEA!!!! Todd
Its been our intentions every year to park cars that might not meet the criteria together in the far field. Unfortunately this never seems to happen. This year we have the parking situation hard lined.
The Gamma Rays have been added to the bill. The Long Goodbyes have called it quits. Its gonna be a great show this year. I cant wait!
** Pre Show Update*** We spent most the day yesterday at the Elks taking care of some landscaping stuff as welll as mowing down the added spectator lot. In regard to the issue of non traditional cars slipping into the show....this year we have the parking locked down. We have created a VIP parking area for cars that are "close, but no cigar" While these cars will be able to park in the field they will be seperated from the traditional cars. The weather is looking good for Saturday with a slight chance of a early morning shower. No worries of mud or puddles. The field has a layer of gravel directly underneath the grass which leeches out standing water. It will be a little Chilly with temps in the low 50's. We will have the fire pit going all day and the Elks are making plenty of Chilli to keep you warm. Hope to see you there!
I can't wait!!! I was looking at the weathe too. Looks a little crappy "maybe". Shitty on Friday with a 30% chance of showers Sat. morning. I hope it is decent. Sat is a long ways off in regards to forcasting the weather. If you have never made this show I cannot over emphesize what a great show it is. The Elks Pavilion is just an awsome venue and the quality of the cars and overall vibe cannot be beat. This is the one show I look forward to all year long. Todd

Good call Matt. The weather is going to suck. I'd rather wait a week and have good weather and get the turnout like last year. Todd
