I can't stop going back to the picture of this car.

    What was it? Dynamic 88?

It's like Batman built a g***er, but it scared the citizens too much so he just parked it out behind the mansion where it slowly began returning to the earth.

Great show guys. First year I attended and I am sorry I did'nt make the previous shows now. I drove down with the Road Rockets and we all had a great time. WE will be back next year for sure.
Thanks to the Poor Boys for all their hospitality and Sunday morning breakfast. You guys made us yankees feel right at home. I'm sure we will return the favor at the Road Rocket Rumble next June in Indy. It would be cool if you guys could make it up to Indy in February for the Motorama inside show at the fairgrounds. Let Tom and Naomi know.
Another cool, don't miss show for me to attend next year...thanks guys.

Looks a lot like a 63 Comet to me.

Ah, I see it now. I'd never really noticed the Comet beltline detail below the fin. With the chop the car looks so much less angular.

That comet just looks plain evil. Strange when you see a regular 63 comet how you would never think it could be something like this.

Thanks for that - not to make this another ratrod debate but when a bunch of pictures of those types of cars get posted, people tend to ***ume that's all that's there and if that's not what there into they avoid the show.

To make my point, Tom and the guys from the Road Rockets made the 5 hour trip from Indy - I doubt they'd have done that if they thought this was a 'ratrod' show.

Great to meet you guys as well, you guys have got some sweet rides. Several of us are planning on being there in February for the Motorama.

I'm trying to decide if that comet should be painted or left alone. My gut tells me it wouldn't look near as sinister even with plain old flat black. Maybe just color sand the rust to knock off the bumps and get the whole thing into a hand rubbed looking patina. Pure ***.

That's the cab from my friend Mike North's truck that he had in high school. It had a personal plate that said "SINFUL". He crashed it real bad, now it's mine so I re-named it...

I myself have lusted over a 37 Nash 2dr sedan for many years. Love the lines of the 37's, especially the grille, plus it's a little different than all the Fords and Chevy's running around.

On my research to find out how rare they are, they don't have numbers on Nash production in 1937. Anybody have a 37 Nash for sale???

  17. Thanks for all the Comments on my Comet, the car is alot of fun and a hand full to drive, but I like it like that..The top was chopped on it back in the 70s and a friend of mine found the car in a Junk Yard here in Ky.. I am glad it didnt get turned into a Toyota..

  18. I like this alot. Thanks for the pictures.

So are you the new owner of this thing, or did you decide not to sell it after all?

Rich has a good eye for the right photo. That's probably why this thread has survived.

More cars of genuine quality than I've seen at the Rumble before. This show continues to get better, and bigger.

Cool pics. I don't really dig the Comet, but I'm not really into g***ers in the first place, though.

So my opinion isn't worth much, but there it is.

    Revisting some rumble pic's......nice!

  28. That would actually make a really cool Hot Wheels type car. I'd like to do a full-on rendering with legit paint and wheels, etc. The stance and look are just really rad.
