What transmission is in it?? Sounds pretty stout gear wise..like more of a straighter cut gear in it? I know i'm hearing a gear drive, but there's more....
You gotta be shiftin your *** off when you lace into it with those gears!

full on bad***! Lots of straight roads in that vid made me itch to hear you get on it just a little(lot) more.

makes me consider a stick ****** for my Falcon g***er. More fun, but lots of time and money getting the clutch/launch just right when it counts. I'll have to re evaluate my cruise to race ratio....

The 55 has G-Force transmission with a 3.30 1st gear. The gears are straight cut and the trans does not have any synchronizers. The rear is a 57 Olds with a spool and 5.86 Gears.

 

Any videos of her at the track? That thing is pure bad***!

hmmm.....i certainly appreciate you sharing this with us but have to admit after 7min i was waitin for it to do what g***ers do.

and it was a good reminder with 5.86 gears you are gonna be doin some shiftin'.

 

Sounds like you have a Pete Jackson gear drive in that Hot Rod! I kept waiting for you to hammer on it.... maybe next time.

You don't see too many hardtop sport coupe g***ers, so that is pretty cool in itself.

Definitely gonna be a let down if you don't post another with him hammering it through at least 3-4 gears...

Great video!.....The more gear noise the better!.....Good lookin' Hardtop.....I was bracing myself for a real "Hell Ride" through the gears....next time!.....Please!
