Alright thanks Ill give them a call and thanks for the macs website too they have everything I need. The oreillys here says their computers dont go back that far anymore. It was really strange because when I was looking for another part I called them and they said they had it and I went the next day for it and the guys said they couldn't get that part because it was too old of a car and their computers only go to the 70's.

I have had alot of luck with my 52 drums from Car Quest. The guys at our local shop are not afraid to pull out the books and say the hell with the computer. I have replaced everything except the Master Cylinder with their parts and they have worked great

  8. We have many threads about how dumb counter guys are in the chain stores - they have no concept of getting out the catalog and looking in that. But it is true the computers are spotty on older stuff and you need to know how to outsmart them. Chevy brakes interchange across many years, Advance Auto doesn't have listings for 51-54 but does show 55-57, even though the shoes are the same, for instance. So you have to ask for 55 Chevy brake shoes. It's easier to look yourself online from their website to figure it out than to go in and have them do it.

Or just come up with part numbers for the pieces and buy them that way.
