Today I got the headlights I painted put on. Still need to run the wire wrap to hide the wires. I also got the 1940 Ford column I painted a few days ago installed. Hooked up the steering for the last time and painted it. Made a mount to hide the turn signal switch under the dash.
    Her are some pics.

The headlights and fog light are mounted with the wire shield and junction blocks. They all work. One step closer!!!!!

Only one fog light? Who in their right mind would buy just one fog light? What if it's foggy on the passenger side of the highway, then you're screwed?

Are those the headlights you were telling me about? Something about the previous owner not wanting to sell them because the lights had spent some time on several legendary cars?

Today I had to re-do my seat bottoms. They were just too small. I added a piece to extend them and change the shape. I will take them to the trim shop tomorrow.

Drove the car out to the carport to do some dirty work in the garage. Everything seems to be working fine. I still need to check every nut and bolt before I take it on the first real drive. Here are some pics of it out for the first time.

Nothing better than a new project moving under it's own power.

    I'm envious as hell.

My one suggestion is hide/change the bright colored wire on the firewall.

RAD!!! I think the engine stick out like a sore thumb because you have wires and an overhead engine but the car it so*****ing rad and the stance is spot on that I don't ever care. Is a hood in the works????

I didn't get much time to work on it today. Changed out the springs in the door latches. I also made new oak strips for the window molding screws to attach to.

Great job. I like the stance and chop. Now for some on the road duties. I am really jealous. The only thing wrong with the car is it is not in my garage. Ha!

    Love sedans.

The hood is done and in the garage. I have it off for now so I can fine tune everything. I'll put it on when things are working ok. You will never see the engine when the car is finished, unless you are working on it with me.
