Your pics look great. Hopefully you will post more. You even got one of my old 35 Dodge truck.Thanks.
Thanks for the pics. I just got back from the (Dust Bowl Run) I mean the Pumpkin Run. Mrs. Trucked Up and I haven't been in several years. The weekend was well enjoyed. The swap meet did have some interesting things. Also cost me the renovation of our pool house/bar room, (new floor tile, counter tops, paint and "50 flat screen. Seems I forgot the promise I made Mrs. Trucked Up last week when I bought the '54 Chevy project truck, the promise that this would be the last until I sold one. Well the purchase of the '49 Chevy driver/running/project this weekend went over like a turd in the punch bowl. On another note is it just me or do some of you other Pumpkin Run attendees think a little dust control would help?
I agree they need to do something with the dust. This is not a new issue and they have not step up yet to do something about it!!!
here are a few from the pumpkin run . the highly coupe. this is a very nice model a coupe that is driven hard. also the Smart 32 5 window coupe . this car has some great history in ohio. it used to have a wicked pontiac engine back in the day that would pull the front wheels . others are misc photos of the show
Haven't got a chance to talk to you yet,Racerdaddy, but I am a friend of Rick's and Juniors. Junior lowered my international a couple of weeks ago. And Rick just bought that panel truck from me last month.
Here's where you can find my pictures from Saturday at the Pumpkin Run. http://www.cartercountycruisers.com/forums/index.php?topic=1323.0
Over the years I've come to terms with the dust (sometimes mud) and just take it as part of the shows character. A few years back, I rode up with a friend in his really nice 40 Ford. We parked in the infield on the edge of Ford country. First thing he did was start to dust the car off. Once he was around the car, he looked surprised to see it was time to start again. I finally told him if he kept dusting, he'd never leave his spot and he'd miss out on the rest of the show. Once he let go of the dusting obcession, he had a great time.
