old dragster chassie help..

    I bought this car 10 years ago(not in this shape.. i wish) but with most of the pieces.. i was recently given this photo at a nostalgic advent. my question is does anyone have any idea if it is home built or bought..it seems to be patterned after an early ch***ie research.. thanks little rail.jpg
     
  2. In my opinion that's definitely a home built frame. It has no common design elements to any Ch***is Research, Dragmaster, RCE, or Lyndwood.

    thanks guys.. that's what i kinda thought.. who ever built it did a good job almost to good and u never know with early rails. i currently had it mocked up for a early red ram hemi but after the pic came about i think i am gonna make it like the picture.. thanks for all of your knowlage..

    tried to fly out to work on yours.. but the dam airlines wanted more money to check my welder... ha ha looks like u gotta move back here..:eek:
     
  15. Very cool. I thought my wheelbase was short(96 inches) but that is shorter . very cool.
    Mine goes straight. Reals straight . That probably does too otherwise it would have been destroyed or modified before now. Anyway I hope you get it back at the track.
