I am wondering if anyone can tell me what if any disc brake can be made to fit a 62 ford straight axle? I am told that rotors off of an 80 to 86 two wheel drive ford pick-up will fit and have to obviously make caliper brackets, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check with Sac-vintage Ford or Cl***ic Performance Products, I think even Speedway may make a kit for that axle and you have the option to stay with the 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern if you want to. I'm all for making your own stuff but for the cost of these kits vs. the time to make your own setup plus the cost of parts I bet you would be money ahead to go with a kit. Later, Roger
