    .

My Dad has been very ill since April,
I have run the road (18,000 miles back and forth) since spring. Things have been kinda sorry in our life. No time for ourselves or much fun.

My wife came home from Hobby Lobby this afternoon with this 32 model.......

I have not built models since the 60's BUT I am really thrilled.......

    GOD..........I love that woman.......

Yeap, she's pretty cool, I like her too. It's a shame we don't live closer to each other, I love to shop at Hobby Lobby, they have a nice selection of s****booking stuff. Please tell her I said "hi" and I sure hope your Dad gets better soon. I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Very sweet of her to think of you. I always tear up when I hear that kind of stuff -- reminds me of my wife, who surprises me with stuff a lot too.

Hope your dad gets better, and that your life improves with it.

  9. That is such a cool kit. I wanted to buy it but the local hobby shop wanted around 100 bones for that deal. You are a very lucky man!

Great kit, my favorite 1/8th scale model. Be sure to test fit before commiting to glue!

Hobby Lobby sells the kit for $80

She told me today that she was looking at the kit and the saleperson walked up and asked if she needed any help. She asked the salesperson WHEN it was going on sale?? The salesperson asked if she would buy it then at 40% off ?

40% of 80 dollars is 32 dollars off......... ....get it ( 32 ) .............it was a sign............so she bought it [IMG]

First of all, Best wishes to you and your father. I understand what it's like to have a sick loved one. (My ma.)

My GF is wonderful; she understands (and tolerates?!) my p***ion-

Our first Christmas together I got the Franklin Mint Hirohata Merc to display. This year, for Sweetest Day, she gave me a subscription to the Rodder's Journal. (She doesn't make a whole lot of cash, and has lots of tuition bills to pay, so I consider both of these items quite a sacrifice for her). I would never have bought either of those things for myself, but I have wanted each for a long time. When you guys find the woman that puts up with our stuff, hang on to her! [IMG]
