I know some guys in here were involved in the movie CARS...anyone know if there is going to be a sequel to it?
It's supposed to come out summer of 2011. I know a lot of time and work goes into these films, but dang that's a long time.
I'm with Tman. I have a 2 1/2 year old that watches it daily. Has all of them memorized and wont go to sleep unless he has the little "cars" we bought with him. I can wait for a new one to finally watch.
I would imagine the 2011 sequel would make sense...Disney is opening a "CARS Land" in California Adventure (adjacent to Disneyland for the out of towners) in 2012...Looks to be about 1/3 the size of Cali' Adventure itself...
The wife and I enjoy that movie more than the kids do. We actually watched it on the Disney channel last night. I stopped washing the van to catch the last 20 mins of it. Awesome movie!
I felt the same way when I found this place. You aren't alone. Fortunately, there is no twelve step for us, so enjoy...
Hell marcus knows every line. he named each of us to a car I am doc hudson, lol paul we miss you ! RIP. so who couls do Doc or will they do the right thing and have him go to the hall of fame for the movie.
I was a bike courier in Boston when I was going to school (mostly ditching cl***) and used to deliver packages to WNPR all the time. Ive met the "Car Talk" guys there several times and I hope those cool dudes make it into the next movie. I wish Rust-Ezze (?) was an actual product!!
Cars 2 - scheduled for 2011. http://2aday.wordpress.com/2008/03/03/disney-pixar-cars-2-sequel-coming-in-2011/
I heard it will be called Bikes - The Fall of Internal Combustion. It's all about living, talking bicycles who go to war against the Cars for dominance of the planet.
I wonder how they will work this with the death of Paul Newman? I mean no one else could ever play Doc
I just bought the WII game of CARS..... Shoot I think I like it as much as my 4 year old...and I'm not the gaming type... That damn 4 y/o whoops my *** onna regular basis... some peoples kids...
Made the mistake of starting to collect the diecast from the first movie with my daughter and telling her we would get all of them, thinking it would be about 12. Mattel had no idea how much interest there would be and when they realized the gold mine they were sitting on, ramped up to produce every CARS character that had more than 3 seconds of screen time. Now we're up to about 154. $ouch$ We will definitely be seeing CARS2 but definitely not buying the diecast.
Yes its coming out and there is also going to be a Radiator Springs at Disney World or Disney Land. Can't remember which one it was now. Foose is involved in the 2nd one again.
I never seen it till about 3 months ago, and was a lot better than I thought it would be. The scene about the whitewalls was my favorite. Besides......anything that gets kids envolved w/cars is fine by me.
there's a lot of stuff in the movie the adults get, but goes over kids heads, a lot of the places on 66 are based on real places, the details of the cars are very realistic, lots more then that of course. What made it so cool was real car guys were involved in the whole thing, not just some artist who had never turned a wrench. watch the firing order of the plugs on Flo's place for example. you'll figure it out quick. They need a hot rod though!! Doc Hudson was my favorite out of all of them. They built a life size driving mater,Sally, and Mcqueen, there used to be a site up on the web of how they did it,very cool what went into it.
