I recently picked up a couple of wheels and I am not sure what they came from. Maybe someone can help identify them. They are 16" by 4.5" with a 5 on 5 bolt pattern. The center hole is 3.25" There is a Kelsey Hayes stamp which is partially obscured by a rivet.

    Thanks for any info.

The outer hole pattern looks like '36 Plymouth but the bolt pattern is too big. I've been told that Imperials used a 5 on 5 pattern, I'd look for pictures of mid-30's Imperials and Airflows and check there. The wheel design, hubcap clips and big center hole all say Mopar to me, although they don't appear to have the guide pin hole in them anywhere, so I'm not 100% sure on that.

  3. I'm pretty sure that artillery wheel is off of a mid thirties dodge half ton truck. But I am also not 100% sure on that. I know that its not off of an 8cyl chrysler airflow because those are six bolt artillery wheels. The 6cyl airflows are five bolt but are a different looking type of artillery wheel.

I saw a picture of a 1934 Desoto Airflow with the same spoke pattern. Could it have a 5 on 5 bolt pattern?

  5. Hey Jerome and Squablow I think you might be right there...I didn't realize that Desoto airflow and Chrysler airflows have different wheels! I guess I learn new things every day.
