He gained legendary status in the import cl***es as an innovator, and drove pro stock for a bit for Don Schumacher. May he rest in peace whether his connection with automobiles was traditional or not.

He was truly an innovator. He built this car and many others. He owned NUFromz Racing. I still gave a block guard from him before he was somebody. He drove pro stock for a spell also..

Shaun was one of the best. I met him years ago at the NHRA Winternationals when he was displaying Steph Papadakis' yellow Honda in semi finished form (this was the car that made the first FWD 9 second run).
We were friends from that day on and traded ideas and tricks while I was building my ProFWD Cavalier for GM. His Meguiars backed Focus set the bar for all of us that were building tube ch***is FWD cars at the time. Always the innovator, he switched to the drift scene when the sport compact drags started to implode and was equally as effective at building cars for that arena as well.
Not really a HAMB friendly type guy as he was into leading edge tech but a hell of a fabriicator and super cool dude that will be missed by all that knew him.

Shaun Carlson was a bad-***!! I am truly saddened that he is gone, that is way to young.. I met him when I was visiting my old boss at AFT, Shaun was there working on a clutch for the Dodge Neon. He was a really nice guy and did some impressive stuff!
