Theres a guy in Kansas City that has one. He's looking for parts but the're so hard to find. I know of a guy in Visalia Ca. that has some bodies but I can no longer get a hold of him. He sent the pics but moved from his job where I had his email.

Yes. They have a drivetrain that looks just like and american rear wheel drive car. Miniture clutch, bellhousing, the three speed trans is about the size of you two fists put together, u joints, and a miniture differential.
Most of the Trimobiles were shipped to Ca so they show up here every so often. Mine was originally a S.F. airport vehicle.
LOL, I am gonna have to find one of those to look at in person. My Isetta is rated at 13hp, hard to imagine that those things were built for work trucks........
In the Isetta, it is located behind the seat, on the right side of the car. On the T2000, its mounted under the seat laying at an angle like a slant six.
Leland built these trucks. (Scammell) Customize with a dually rear end and Alcoa wheels, pull the 2.8L and go with a 350.
Assuming that when Mazda says a 2 ton truck they mean a 2 ton payload capacity: Rice bulk density = 45 lb/ft^3 2 tons * 2000 lbs = 4000 pound capacity 4000 lb / 45 lb/ft^3 = 88.9 ft^3 of rice using the given bed length and width of 8'L and 5.5'W, calculate load height: L * W * H = 88.9 ft^3 8 * 5.5 * H = 88.9 solving for H gives H = 2.02 feet So a 4000 lb load of rice would take up 88.9 ft^3 with a load dimension of 8'L x 5.5'W x 2.02' H.
Excuse me. Pardon me, gentlemen... But Split51, is that a Terraplane coupe sitting behind your Isetta in the photo? Your tastes are eclectic, my friend. In fact, all of you guys are quite twisted. Not as bad as me, but you're still pretty sick puppies... As you were........
PS: I'm no math whiz, but... If one 500" Caddy = 172 bags of rice, then that little truck can handle at least two 500" Caddies, using the stock frame. That means there's strength left over to carry a three stage nitrous system, using two 20 lb bottles! You guys are really on to something here......
jangeguy - Didn't one of your members have a wild morris minor a few year ago. Used to see it on the net all the time.
Um, well, uh, that weird little clown car is, uh... mine. Still got it. Thought I was King of Weird little Cars, until my cousin got a Dipshitzu 3-wheel pickup, like you guys all have. I guess none of us are so unique now, huh? For my next trick, I'm buildin' a deuce roadster! Not really...
DAYUMM!! I didn't know if you were gonna take the bait or not, LOL!!! You still have your mullet?!? I don't have any pics of my old junk (NDAWEDS).
Yes the OG Mazda is long gone, one of the few to leave his stables, but it was to normal for his evolving taste of uh, uniqueness, uh, rare cars, yeah, thats it, rare cars!
Yeah, thats the ticket! rare cars! yeah! thats the ticket! I already feel better about my "collection" of rare cars..........
