Well the 63 Dodge left today on the way to its new home in New Hampshire. It was hard to see it go.It wasn't an easy decision to decide on but it will fund the 34 Ford Hot Rod project until its completion...Still kinda ****s though.Snapped these pics as we were getting ready to load it up.
Man , I agree that is hard to let one go. That looks to be one clean car. Looking forward to updates on the '34. Dave
Dude, I just teared up! That is one sweet sweet piece of machinery . . . just try to remember the good times you had with Maxie - eight barrels opening at once, screaming big block mopar in your ears and the smell of burning rubber in your nose. Damn, I'm going to cry now.
What? I'm right here... Oh you mean "The Max Wedge". I been having the urge to build an early 60's Mopar lately, although my model A is still pretty fun.
^^^^^^^^^^^ She is awaiting some up grades^^^^^^^^^^ As soon as parts start arriving one of us will post on it.
Maybe, but I'll sure have fun trying! Next Mopar I get will be a 64 or 65 with a 426 Hemi and a 4 speed...
damn...did you at least get one last full throttle p***? congrats on sellin' and good luck with buildin'.
That dodge is pretty damn awesome but I gotta say, I would have picked the 34 too. Looks like you are livin right out there bro.
I like what you're thinking and dont think I havent thought of just exactly that! Never know what the future holds...
I was like...you idiot!!!!how could you sell that?!? then I saw the pictures of the 34....I think you made the right choice.
Sorry man, I can't get on the band wagon for the '34. That was an evil black max wedge! I think it's fair to say that '34s are more common. I'd have pimped my sister before I woulda sold that. I really am sorry.
Got a '64 with a 440 and 727 for sale if you are looking for a seed. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=397022
