I am in need of suggestions. Currious to know if I should go radius rod or four link on my 31 coupe. Also, could use help determining coil overs to use on the rear and how to make it all work. Anyone have suggestions on good reading material? Frame is built to Wescott specs, no Z'ing.
    Thanks ahead for all responses.

Seeing how this is a traditional rod site, most people here will say radius rods and buggy spring, but if you are trying to get low, realitive to stock, without z'ing coilovers would probly be better, it could be done with buggy spring but coilovers would be easier and give you a little more trunk/bed room. In my opinion nothing wrong with coilovers if it is a coupe or pickup with a bed bottom to cover them up. As for reading material try HOW TO BUILD HOT ROD CHASSIS by Tex Smith, great book alot of help when I was building my chassis. Hope this helps

Would ladder bars be better than radius rods?
    Thanks again,

Thanks trad27, for your response. I just found your response to irs30. Seems he shares the same questions i have. I am going back to read more of his post.

  5. Go to Pete&Jakes website or So Cal. They have pics and sell basic kit setups. Their ladder bars are good.

It all depends on your set-up. I am assuming you are running a later rear end with open drive line? With that set-up and split radius rods you pretty much have to turn the split bones into a ladder bar, or use a torque arm. If your not big on using henry ford parts, like I am :D, it would be simpaler to use ladder bars.

  7. Split the wishbones for traditional look or go to 4 link or ladder bars for that drag look.
