54 doors on a 50 chevy.

parting out my 54 chevy 210 sedan and I guy that I had sold parts to wanted to know if the 54 doors would fit his 50 chevy sedan because he wants crank out vent windows on his 50.

Any idea if they fit? I ***ume no but who knows.

If not can 50 doors be modifed to have crank out vent windows?

two different body styles i would say no

 

Nope- '53-'54 same same. Pontiac and Chevy doors fit the openings but the trim is different.

 

Presumably one could modify the lower pivot of the '50 vent to add a worm screw for a crank handle. Personally, I'm way too lazy for that, but whatever turns your friend on.

 

yeh I was 99% sure they wouldn't work on his car.
