id really like to see a 31 4 door slant window with a 32 header, and a 32 frame. i think that would be ***y, kinda like druss32s vicky just my 2 cents
that is pretty sick, good stuff. it would probably take more work and money to put into it...just sell the A and buy a deuce if your really interested..
That's a nice car, and isn't that the defination of our hobby? Changing things you like about multiple year cars to incorporate all the things YOU like? Nice build....
do you have pics of your car or have i just missed them, i find the posts about sell a 31 to buy a 32 kinda funny, i think i could buy 10 nice 31 bodies for the price one one ****y 1/2 there 32 body..lol
He says,"they're making a '32 look like a Model-A!". Not a '32 look from a Model A, not a Model A look like a '32. What he means< I don't know. What he says is that the are changing a 1932 Ford to look Like a 1931 Ford. It's in the quote. Ed, you want to clarify just what you meant?
Druss32, hope you dont mind but i messed with one of your pics just for fun i turned it into a 32 5 window, i dont have photoshop just a free program.
I know exactly what your saying I want to do the same thing to my Vicky, This area should have been dealt with from the factory......lol..........it really does not fit the rest of the car. Oh yeah you forgot the frame...........lol............ but im my opinion I like yours just as much as I would if it were a 32. A Vicky is a Vicky to me I just like the looks of these (31 or 32) Vicky's the best it has to do with the back bustle area.
I'm thinking of "converting" my 54 chevy to a 55.. It's just one year off right??so they must be the same..
You could just as easily say a 32 Chev coupe is like a 31 Ford as well. Most cars in any era are kinda the same, but different. It's like white paint, they all look the same til you have to match it.
Does one of them there Harry Potter books have a spell to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear? Turn lead into gold? Try that on a '31 and see if it becomes a '32.
Run the model A and be proud. You can swap 'em, change 'em, and redo the square parts. But then you should start with something else. It's an A not a B. Run with the A. They are ***y in their own way. Tim
