i know that many people don't like to get involved in other peoples problems. On tuesday the 5th of oct. our father was heading to mich to buy a front engine rail.On the way he took a pill for infection that a denist gave him ,well there was a reaction between it and his heart meds. and he went into a n irregulator heart beat and started to pass out.We don't know who the fellow rodder was that stop to help and called the emt's but if wasn't for him and his staying with our dad and keeping him calm until the help arrived we might not have him now the doctor said this helped greatly.old rodders just seem to find each other in time of need.Only thing we know is he and dad talked the hamb .so who ever you are THANK YOU
    THAN YOU and god bless.

    Jay,
I read your story and i am glad your dads ok.It is a great thing when you have someone come to your aid when you are in need.I don't know who stopped to help but i hope you find out.It is good to know there are still good people out there. He could of just drove by but did not.And his actions speak for the kind of man that he is... And to be a Hamber too that's a extra plus...

My best to you and your family,
    Steve

I hope all turns out well, BTW tuesday was the 6th,
I saw a small car wrecked early in the AM hours just north of the Ohio Michigan border..called 911 , was very hard to spot from the SB side of the freeway ..on my way home i could tell that they hit the rail and spun out by the mess it left behind..good thing for cell phones and 911.

this one wasnt me..but im glad someone stopped to find out what the deal was

Hi Jay, this is Randy, the guy with the dragster...I just heard from Bob that you called him and let him know that your dad was going to be OK, and that you were taking him home...

...good to know that someone actually stopped and helped him...even better, (though not surprising), that it was a hot rodder & HAMB member...please let us know how he is doing...

Guys, Now this is what it is all about Kind of like when the car clubs in the 50's would hand out club cards to any one they assisted with car trouble or just stopped to talk to. We need to see more of this especially during the current situation we are all in.

Thanks so much to who ever it was. They may not want recognition but I feel this jesture saved a man's life.

Yeah it would be cool to know who it was, but he's probably a humble guy and won't fess up to it, especially if he didn't leave info with the medics.

Either way, i'm glad it worked out for your pops. And thanks the HAMBer for doing the right thing.

Always brethren. I am glad to hear your story, it keeps my belief strong in the spirit of helping fellow rodders like we used to. So many selfish people out there, but the HAMB, they always deliver 24/7.

Wow. Great read. Whomever it was , thanks. Randy....if he didn't get that dragster, save it. It'd be cool to have a few HAMBers sign it for him.

Glad to hear your Pop is alright, and how wild is it that the one person who stops and helps is a Hamber? Good on them!

It's great to see a group so tight. People these days are so wraped up in their own needs, they over look the needs of others. I hope your father is well. Gods speed to him. It seems that I have hooked up with Good People that share my intrestests.
