Congrats on finishing a super ride. It's wonderful having friends and family to stick by you after a devastating event. I faced one in 1988 and if it weren't for a loving loyal wife, some great surgeons, and the grace of God I would have faced what you are now adapting to.
I hope you get out often and enjoy whatever inspires you.

Hard not to respond to this great thread, congrats to all who made this happen for you and to your wife!
I have a friend that's been in a chair for over 26 years that I know of and still loves and drives his Black Cherry '56 Chevy and until recently his '47 Chevy coupe that he would like to sell to buy a more up to date "chair" ............

I walked by a 54 Panel everyday going to school when I was a kid. Always dreamed about what it could look like fixed up, but I never imagined anything as cool as the ride you have!

Im a little late getting here, I seen the thread started in 09. I came across this from another thread and your story and panel blew me away! Your Panel is in the top Customs I have ever seen. And you Sir are an inspiration to all mankind! HAMB is my morning newspaper, your story and acomplishment plus friends are totally amazing!
Sometimes great things come from a bad situation, one of the best threads I have read in a long time! Take care and enjoy!

    So clean! Congrats!

I broke my back 5 years ago, looped out on the bike, but no cord damage. I know I got lucky. It was a long recovery though, mostly mental, but with the help of some special friends I am doing a lot better. Sounds like you have some great friends too! Congrats again!
