Do you guys know that Geocities is closing?

Geocities, the free webpage hosting company that is owned by Yahoo is closing this month. That means if you have a webpage on Geocities it will disappear. Geocities is used frequently by car guys to host information. I have several Geocities-hosted web pages.

There are other free webpage hosts out there, like freewebs.com.
If you have a webpage hosted by Geocities, now would be the time to visit it, save the code and the pix and look for a new home for it.

 

ah damn, all the 7th and 8th grade kids in computer cl*** will have to find another way to start their webpage project.
