One of my favorite things about September in Michigan is the annual get together at Dave's Museum, It doesn't mater how tired or beat you might be from the day's activities, when somebody else that was invited says to you,... "Ya' going to Dave's tonight?" the only response you can come up with is "I wouldn't miss it for the world !" :D

Dave is a great host with a unending line of great real stories from Drag Racings golden era, some of the best jokes you could ever imagine,.... and humble reverence for those who's absence is felt by everyone there,.... It's like the motto Dave lives by "Its not the cars,.... it's the people"

    Enjoy !

Our gracious host in his latest super secret project!

So, i've got the directions to Dave's in my pocket and head to dinner in Battle Creek with some pals knowing that Dave's place is right around the corner and after dinner I'll head there. After we ate I bid my dinner pals goodnight, hopped on the freeway back to Kzoo and didn't remember Dave's get-together till I was already back in Kzoo.:( It ****s getting old :(

Thanks for posting this, it's some of the best shots I've seen of this neat museum. Much more enjoyable to see than some of these rich soccer players flaunting their weath with collections they just bought.

I've had the honor of visiting the Dave Crane Museum, it is a mind boggler at least and a return to our root's at best. Dave is a wonderful Host, he and Cora work so hard to make this available to all.

Wow, I could imagine that is must take some time to dust all that stuff....I would be more than happy to volunteer and dust some of it and make sure it is all well lubricated....:D

  22. Just when I get a couple things marked off my bucket list (GNRS), now here comes a new one to take it's place. Love the Lyndwood with the Bantam coupe.
