-This is a shot in the dark but its worth a try-

I'm looking for a long lost friend, Tony L.

Between the years of '98-'00 my brother and I lived a few drive ways down from Tony in Ballard (a neighborhood in Seattle WA). We'd all hang over at Tony's house, drinking PBR talls, tinker with Tony's Plymouth, play pool at the Old P. Pub, and even worked at Grease Monkey with Tony for a year or so. Tony had some classic flame tattoos, greased back hair, and loved old school rods. There was (is) a great vintage rod movement going on in Ballard. The Tractor Tavern drew groups of cars when Rock-a-Billy groups played live. I recall viewing some of these cars with Tony.

I thought I'd finally found you when I learned you were working at Crown Customs in Seattle Washington. But when I called Crown Customs I learned that you'd moved away to Chicago just 4 weeks before my call. Anyway, PM me when you get this. It would be cool to hear from you again. If you happen to know Grease Monkey Tony L. send Tony a message and let him know that I'm trying to get a hold of him.

Yo Tony, This is the last time I'll bump this. If you ever come across this thread, give PM me. My brother and I would love to catch back up with you man. Relive the glory days in Ballard when we didnt have a red cent, and had to flush your toliet with a bucket of water cause your utilities were shut off.

I wouldn't personally call him a friend. But I know him. He use to work at Les schwab, well before my time, and would stop in to chat every once in a while. He always had a cool car with him that I would check out. He seemed like a nice knowledgeable guy. Always down to shoot the shit. I hope he is doing well.

Too bad to hear about Crown Customs going out. I never had a chance to visit the place.

I had heard about his move. All I can hope is that he is still into Rods and is a member of the HAMB. Its a long shot but it sure would be good to hear from the dude.
