can i be forgiven if i ask where abouts in Houston is the CC? It's been about 8 years since I lived there....and it seems i've been married so long i forgot what the inside of a club looks like richmond/westheimer? inside loop outside?

Seriously, hope you can make it....the CC is a couple of blocks off Elgin...at 3700 Main....inside the loop....its' not too far from where lower Westheimer turns into Elgin....

 

On South Main just a few blocks north of 59.

If you like drivin' Westheimer, just head east until you hit Main, turn right, and it's a few blocks down on the right.

OT - i know - but... few years ago I made some "coyote" fangs for a guy out of composite resin - for grins i put a half moon out of gold foil on one of the canines he loved it

Johnny...I'll do my damdest to get something figured out, but I gotta say...a Sunday shindig is gonna inhibit out of towners a bit. It'll make it hard for people to stick around if they have to work on Monday. Just something to consider.

At this point, I feel lots of encouragement that the CC and the Kontinentals have shown so much support.....And our Chup bros have expressed their support as well, not to mention all the Houston buddies who show up to see my ugh-ly mug everytime .....
How many of you folks would have to stay away if it was on Sunday.Dec 7 ?
I'm grateful we have that,considering I didn't give the CC much notice.....

 

Sunday makes it hard...but it's not like i'd miss it!

 

There's a good chance I could make it down on the 6-7th. That still gives me some time to come up with some new original artwork too...

I have to work Sunday AND Monday, but I will call in on Sunday and DAMMIT, suffer if I enjoy tooo much. Also, I am willing to bring stuff, like food or drink (if it doesn't hurt the club's interest any of course) or whatever. I am open to helping however I can. Me makem good volunteer...

 

To hell with the haircuts Johnny. Besides we all know hair and paint don't go well together. I'll be freshly gradumated by the time the 6 rolls around so if I'm not too busy moving out of my apartment I'll make sure I cruise down to H-town.

No excuses now for all you working people that have to travel.....it's good for the Saturday all day....show and shine....art show....beer drinkin'....music.....blah blah blah. We really need to get something like this going in H-Town annually and w/ everybody's help and enthusiasm, we can make this a helluva pre-holiday hot rod/kustom/art show. I hope this Saturday will work out better for everyone. The Austinites will be pulling out early Sat morn Dec 6 Houston bound. Spread the word. Hopefully this works for you Johnny. Let me know.
