It's been awhile since I've posted, had a busy time in San diego serving in the worlds finest navy. Been home for seven days and have been busting my ass to get this car ready to goto San Jose. trading Notebooms on the Hamb for his 49 ford coupe. this will be loaded up on the trailer tonight and tomorrow will be its' last day in the PNW, sad to see it go but It'll have a good home. I'm one of those guys that can't have 2 projects, I got an itch for a shoebox coupe and figured 1 or the other.

    It was a fun build.

If you haul ass down tonight.you'll catch the Swanx 10th anniversary show Saturday and the "After party" at Brewsir's shop in Benicia.

When you get here, how long do you plan on staying?

you are smart for not having multiple project. i never seem to learn that lesson, as my addiction skews common sense...

hope you enjoy the business coupe. im happy its going to be put to use, instead of just sitting in storage.

    have a safe trip.

here is the business coupe. this is something i picked up a few years ago (looking as is), did some work on (got running, wiring, etc) and realized that it was probably better to part with it-- because i was being temped to completely tear it apart, put a flathead back in it, make my style, etc. with everything else going on right now with multiple projects (including rebuilding an entire 100 yr old house)--- that would not have made any sense.

I was stoked that slamcouver was looking for a business coupe. im excited that he's going to take this, make it his own and DRIVE IT. It's not happy tucked away in a damn storage unit-- it wants to breath.

as far as the sport coupe.......... i've had evil intent on doing some work on a banger for years now, as i've got some stashed away hop up goodies. i'll paint, put on a top, change a couple little things and hop it up. it's got a good look and soul right now-- so im not going to break that part...

It was good to meet Ali last night-- we got him and his buddy locked and loaded by midnight, after the always fun adventure of using blocks, jacks, rope, etc trying to get a low car on a not built for low car trailer :)

Great guy--- I especially liked the fact that he was so nervous over how good of a deal he thought he was getting for the shoebox. lol. While I think he did real good on this trade, im just as happy as he is. We both love the cars and have the best intents in mind for them. Besides, he said he's excited to drive the coupe in its current lavender (when i owned it, i didnt use that word, lol) color. Bad ass....

I'm not "allowed" to have another project at the moment, but as soon as the sport coupe arrived, instantly my brain starts...... What color do i want to paint it? Top or no top? Hood or nada? Good times.
