Prices seem sporadic. Some great deals early on, then a couple of ridiculous prices paid for some generic cars...
My thoughts as always, is thats another world. It always amazes me how high some of these prices get on cars that dont seem to be worth it and how little money seemingly deserving cars bring. Its still a soft market and a strong buyers market for sure.
I thought $110,000 was a bit much for a Mayberry look-a-like 63 galaxy 4-door cop car. Although Don Knotts signed it.
That guy in the green shirt yesterday has purchased about 30 cars. He was the one that kept bidding the Galaxie up.. Wonder if he is a fake bidder, just like his wife's fake Jugs
Nope, he's the "Real Deal" He bought 2 cars from me 2 years ago @ BJ The BOOBS ? Yer gotta B right on that 1.
Hawk...LMAO. Didn't the blonde gal buy the Galaxy? She kinda looked like Linda Vaughn but not as pretty. Most of the cars looked way over done to me. And like was said, the ones worth the money sold cheap and the blingy-billett crap went high.
The more good stuff for us Filter that billet crap out to the goldchainers and keep the real deal for us!
I that show on again? To me it has nothing to do with the real old car/hot rod/custom car world. Just a bunch of rich guys buying toys that may see the road once a year in a parade. An ego trip for them. Most, if not all the cars are built by profesional shops. That said, if I am channel surfing I will stop and watch for a bit...if nothing else is on. Makes me think that someone else watching that wants to sell a 50-60's rusted out 4-door car will think its worth around the same prices as the chromed perfect cars on that show...
