Hot Rods What is it, besides rough?, and beautiful

I stopped by a friends house today. He just picked it up. It was advertised as a 30? old hot rod. Anybody care to educate?

Looks to me like a 30 or 31 Model A. The firewall is not original. Nice start. Todd

 

30-31 Ford A, with what apears to be a lengthed frame and the body moved back to line the rear tire up? got some potential though

 

As advertised 1930 Model A with a nice 32 shell and insert

 

Looks more like a '28 or '29.

 

1930 model "A" with 1932 grill shell, and no fenders. The body is pushed back about six inches as well. Doesn't look too rough to me!

 

HUHHHHH? wrong cowl for 28-29

The body is just sitting on the ch***is. The body was hauled home seperate. The got it running today. Sounds strong. I'm as excited for them as they are.

 

You're right, I was looking at the back & the top. My mistake.

 

I have to agree with the rest of the guys 30/31 body,,32 shell and insert,,

The firewall looks like one of the old *****in Products firewalls. HRP

 

an awesome project , hope you post a few more photos if you help rebuild it
